Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PropMotion (“we”) collects, why, and what choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Account data — your name, email, and a hashed password.
• Uploaded photos — the images you add to a project, stored privately.
• Generated videos — the output we create for you.
• Billing data — handled by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record; we never see full card numbers.
• Usage data — basic logs and analytics to keep the service running.
• Support emails — messages you send to hello@propmotion.ai or through our contact form, including your email address and what you write.

How we use it

• To generate your videos and show you your project history.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send account emails (verification, password reset, receipts).
• To detect abuse and secure the platform.
• To answer support requests. An automated assistant (an AI model) reads incoming support email and may reply to routine questions about the product, pricing and plans. Those replies say they are automated. Anything about refunds, billing disputes, legal or privacy requests, or account problems is routed to a person.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

When you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract — to provide the PropMotion service you signed up for (account, video generation, billing).
• Legitimate interests — to prevent fraud, secure the platform, and improve our service.
• Consent — for analytics cookies (which you can accept or reject via our cookie banner).
• Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and other applicable laws.

IP addresses & free trial abuse prevention

To enforce the free trial eligibility limits described in our Terms of Service and to prevent spam on reviews submitted via our public /leave-review page, we compute a one-way cryptographic hash of the IP address you connect from (for IPv6, of its /64 prefix). The raw IP address is never stored in our database, the hashes can't be reversed into your address, and we use them only for these purposes: counting free trial signups from the same network, and rate-limiting anonymous review submissions. Our hosting and security providers may separately log IP addresses as part of normal operation, as described under usage data above.

What we don't do

• We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.
• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share your content with other users.

Third parties

We rely on a small number of processors: a cloud host, Supabase (database and file storage, in the EU, Frankfurt), Paddle for payments, Resend (email delivery, US), Google (Gmail, where we receive support email), Anthropic (AI models that read support email to sort it and draft replies, and that identify the room shown in your photos), and Fal.ai (AI video generation provider, US). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We send the text of a support email to Anthropic only to classify it and draft a reply, and a project photo only to identify the room it shows.

Data sharing with third-party AI providers

To make your video, we send your photo to two AI providers in the United States. Each receives only what it needs for its job, through a temporary link:

• Fal.ai generates your video. It receives the photo you upload, your video settings and a short instruction based on what you asked for.
• Anthropic identifies which room your photo shows (for example a bedroom or a kitchen) so we can choose suitable camera instructions. It receives the photo and returns only the name of the room.

We use these providers strictly to process your photos and generate your video. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models. Anthropic's commercial terms state that it does not train its models on content sent through its services. Fal.ai's terms and privacy policy also apply to what it receives.

International data transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the EEA, including in the United States (Paddle for payments, Resend for email delivery, Fal.ai for AI video generation, Anthropic for AI support and photo analysis, and Google for support email). When data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the providers' own GDPR compliance commitments. Our database and file storage (Supabase) is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).

Retention & deletion

Projects and media are kept while your account is active. You can delete a project at any time, and you can request full account deletion by emailing hello@propmotion.ai. Support emails and the drafted replies are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically.
